Responsibilities
Maintain efficient legal operations and provide support for administrative matters
Support various internal processes, including contract management, invoice management, claims management, and legal matter management
Track law firm billing, ensure accurate record retention, project management, and optimize legal department resources
Qualification
Required
Require a minimum of two (2) years of experience within an in-house legal department, law firm, or comparable experience in another support services department
Require a bachelor's degree. Additional relevant experience will be considered on a year-for-year basis in lieu of degree requirement
Preferred
Prefer prior experience or specific knowledge of legal systems and technology, as well as familiarity with non-disclosure agreements
Prefer highly proficient using MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel) with the demonstrated ability to learn and use new computer software and systems
Prefer the understanding of and experience with claims, risk management, and/or litigation processes
Prefer knowledge of legal terminology and experience with drafting documents
Prefer demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining documents and formatting, inputting, proof-reading, editing, retrieving, and copying same
Prefer excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prefer excellent time management skills and attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and success in delivering to key deadlines
