The Guest Services intern will have the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge and participate in various hands-on experiences while learning about the mission and daily operations of the organization.

Responsibilities
Learn about the mission, culture, and daily operations of Sight & Sound Ministries, Inc
Learn about the Guest Experience as defined by Sight & Sound
Observe and demonstrate Guest Service commitments while serving in GS departments
Partner with the Director of Guest Services and GS Managers to share observations and areas for continued improvement as we collaboratively seek to provide an exceptional Guest Experience
Shadow in other departments during the course of the internship
Attend weekly leadership development sessions with other company interns where leaders from throughout the company will present a variety of leadership and cultural topics
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled, and in good standing, with an accredited post-secondary education program. Priority will be given to students in the second half of their educational program
A passion for the guest experience
Excellent interpersonal skills that contribute to a positive work environment
Outgoing, approachable, personable, flexible, adaptable, and even-tempered
Willingness to work flexible hours (Friday evenings and Saturdays may occasionally be required), and adaptable to frequent changes in daily job responsibilities
Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
An eagerness to learn through a variety of hands-on experiences
Ability to receive both affirming and constructive feedback
This role will include significant standing, walking, lifting, reaching, etc. Successfully completing a post-offer, pre-employment physical will be required for this internship
