Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager (Valves & Automation)
Core Group Resources is seeking a motivated and experienced Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager to lead customer support operations within North America, particularly focusing on the Canadian market. This role combines team leadership, technical support, and sales collaboration to ensure exceptional customer experience and drive business growth in the valves and automation systems industry.

Responsibilities
Lead, develop, and mentor the inside sales and customer service teams to deliver high performance and excellent service standards
Serve as the primary point of contact for Canadian customers, handling RFQs, technical inquiries, and resolving customer issues with professionalism and urgency
Coordinate with sales, engineering, operations, and production teams to align efforts and improve service quality
Support sales efforts by collaborating with external sales representatives, developing new market opportunities, and helping formulate national sales strategies
Provide technical expertise by reviewing specifications, interpreting technical documentation, and supporting product-related inquiries
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales metrics, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency; prepare relevant reports
Manage documentation related to quotes, orders, and deliveries while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience, along with over 10 years of customer support or inside sales experience within industrial or manufacturing settings
Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity in valves, piping, HVAC, or flow control systems
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with fluency in both English and French
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF tools, and CRM/ERP/MRP systems
Willingness to travel occasionally within North America and on-site work schedule flexibility
Preferred
College diploma required; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Technical understanding of industrial products and specifications
Experience with digital marketing tools and systems optimization
