LOFT creates modern, feminine clothing for women and is seeking a Technical Design Intern to assist the technical design team with the entire product process. The intern will participate in fit sessions, take fit notes, and help solve fit issues while gaining hands-on experience in the retail industry.

Responsibilities

Assist the technical design team with the entire product process, from development through the production stage

Sit in on fit sessions

Take fit notes

Create and update production spec packages

Measure samples

Work with the technical team on strategies to solve fit issues

Qualification

Required

Critical eye for detail and proportion

Strong measurement and technical skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must

Junior or senior (Class of 2026 and 2027)

Master's students not eligible

Resume and portfolio (portfolios only needed for Design Applications)

Available June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
