In this role, you will design, improve, and troubleshoot a large-scale, globally distributed network, providing technical leadership and support for network design and implementation.

Responsibilities
Lead and support network design, analysis, implementation, and troubleshooting across enterprise environments
Own and optimize data center core and edge routing/switching for a globally diverse infrastructure
Troubleshoot complex issues across routing, switching, security, and network services platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to successful delivery
Provide guidance and technical leadership to other engineers
Qualification
Required
10+ years of network experience in a large enterprise/global environment (complex infrastructure)
15+ years total IT industry experience; 10+ years as a network consultant preferred
CCIE or equivalent expertise (certification preferred, but strong equivalent experience works)
Strong documentation, communication, and customer-facing skills
Collaborative, organized, and able to multitask and prioritize effectively
Comfortable leading technically and mentoring less experienced engineers
US Citizen
Able to pass background check(s)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Must currently reside in New England and be able to travel onsite to Boston monthly
Preferred
Experience configuring and troubleshooting SD-WAN devices/platforms such as Viptela, VeloCloud, Versa, FortiGate, SilverPeak (or similar)
QoS design and troubleshooting experience
Security tooling and concepts: ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, Illumio, Check Point, ZTA, Private Access, SASE
Scripting with Python is a plus
Voice/Collaboration: CUCM, Contact Center, enterprise cloud voice platforms (Genesys, Avaya OneCloud, Twilio)
SIP and SBC experience: Ribbon, Oracle, and/or Cisco CUBE
MS Teams voice (Direct Routing), E911 integrations (Intrado ERS/EGW, RedSky)
SIP protocol experience
