Responsibilities
Establish, enhance, and oversee a comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) program
Develop DR processes, frameworks, tools, and performance metrics
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to IT service continuity
Monitor, assess, and report on disaster recovery readiness and effectiveness
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to align DR strategies
Lead DR planning, testing, and performance evaluations
Provide expert guidance, mentorship, and best-practice recommendations
Facilitate DR-related workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings
Evaluate and recommend DR technologies, tools, and methodologies
Ensure rapid response and minimal service disruption during incidents
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 8+ years of experience in program management with a strong focus on: Disaster Recovery
Minimum 8+ years of experience in program management with a strong focus on: Business Continuity Planning
Preferred
Experience building DR programs for large organizations or government environments
Strong knowledge of DR best practices, frameworks, and technologies
Experience with DR performance monitoring and metrics
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in high-pressure environments
PMP certification is an asset
