Bike Tours Manager
ROW Adventures Family of Companies is seeking a Bike Tours Manager to oversee the operations of bicycle and e-bike tours in North Idaho and Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. The role involves leading a team of guides, ensuring high-quality multi-day trips, and managing logistical concerns during the busy summer season.

Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of ROW’s bicycle and e-bike tours in both North Idaho and Washington’s Olympic Peninsula
Lead ROW’s team of guides in meeting the goal of providing high quality multi-day trips by ensuring that standard policies and procedures are followed
Responsible for supporting and supervising all aspects of domestic bike tours in the Northwest during the busy summer season
This includes logistical concerns, equipment, supplies, transportation, clerical, guide coordination, communication with office staff and Director of Operations, etc
The position requires the orchestration of trips to and from the trail, assuring that they flow safely and efficiently, while minimizing stress on guides and team leaders
Attendance at ROW’s Manager Training held in early May is mandatory
Attendance at ROW’s Staff Trip held in early May is mandatory
ROW Managers serve as role models for guides in a number of ways, including the following: prioritizing safety; exhibiting a positive attitude and good work ethic; willingness to resolve conflicts whether between themselves and other guides or managers, or between guides who are having difficulties
They are expected to comply with all ROW policies and to inform the Director of Operations if they disagree or will have trouble enforcing one, prior to the season
Conflicts with guides, managers and company owners shall be handled in a direct manner, with a focus on finding solutions and preventing future problems
ROW expects its managers to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times that they are at a work site, whether they are working or not
They are asked to be aware of the image they project to others, including ROW guests and the general public
Managers must exhibit an ability to accept criticism and openness to feedback
Finally, managers embrace ROW's commitment to excellence and are willing to continually work toward improving their knowledge and skills both on and off the trail
Qualification
Required
Must have excellent leadership, first aid and guest service skills
Must have the skills to manage and maintain ROW's fleet of e-bikes and standard bicycles
Must be a team player
Must have strong communication skills
Must have effective logistics/problem-solving skills
Must have excellent ability to get along with others
Must be willing to participate in manager meetings
Must serve as a role model of ROW policies and systems
Must exhibit openness to feedback and the ability to accept constructive criticism
Must have a current First Aid/CPR card
Attendance at ROW's Manager Training held in early May is mandatory
Attendance at ROW's Staff Trip held in early May is mandatory
Ability to ride up to 50 miles in mountainous terrain and adverse weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Preferred
Previous experience in the bicycle tour outfitting business
Excellent organizational skills
Creative problem-solving skills

Personnel management experience
Strong team skills
Computer literacy with email, word processing, and spreadsheet programs
Excellent driving record
Experience driving transit vans with a trailer
General bicycle and vehicle mechanical knowledge
