ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) enriches the environment and protects public health for all New Yorkers. They are seeking an Assistant Project Manager for the Wastewater Capital Program, responsible for supporting project teams in achieving goals and milestones while ensuring compliance with Environmental Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Develop and track contract documents
Manage development of design documents
Conduct field investigations and develop solutions to issues
Review and maintain scope, schedule and cost development and management
Contract administration/procurement
Communication and coordinate with project stakeholders
Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulations
Qualification
Required
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural technology, construction, construction management, construction technology, sustainable design, urban planning, urban studies, city planning, transportation planning, business administration, or public administration
A master's degree in architecture that is the first professional degree in architecture from an accredited college or university
Permanent Civil Service Project Manager Intern status
Preferred
Robust knowledge of wastewater treatment systems and equipment
Knowledge and understanding of codes, standards and design guidelines applicable to wastewater treatment facilities
Ability to read and understand engineering reports, specifications and drawings
Excellent communication and writing skills
