Responsibilities
Conduct personalized coaching sessions with trainees, focusing on leadership development and personal growth strategies
Utilize a range of coaching techniques and tools to facilitate trainees’ understanding of their leadership styles, strengths, and areas for development
Work closely with the Program Manager to align coaching methods with the overall objectives of the Women Leadership Program
Provide continuous support and feedback to trainees, encouraging reflection and application of learned leadership concepts in their professional lives
Evaluate the progress of trainees, offering insights and recommendations to both the trainees and the program team for further development
Qualification
Required
Certification from the International Coach Federation (ICF) is mandatory
Proven experience in leadership coaching, with a preference for coaches who have worked in humanitarian or development contexts
Experience with women leaders in the humanitarian sector is highly preferred
Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities related to women's leadership in the humanitarian and development sectors
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire individuals towards achieving their personal and professional goals
Demonstrated ability to adapt coaching techniques to fit the diverse needs and backgrounds of trainees
Deep understanding of leadership theories and practical leadership development techniques
Empathetic and intuitive listening skills
Commitment to supporting gender equality and enhancing women's leadership capabilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with trainees
