The role involves designing user-friendly interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality software solutions in the Electric Utilities sector.

Responsibilities
Design and develop user interfaces for desktop and web applications
Implement API service models using SOAP/REST best practices
Build user dashboards for reporting and analytics
Create UI mock-ups and functional demos
Ensure usability and user experience in all design choices
Develop features balancing functionality and aesthetics
Optimize web designs for responsiveness, speed, and scalability
Create reusable code components for future projects
Maintain brand consistency across designs
Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
Collaborate with backend developers for seamless integration
Follow coding standards and use tools like SonarQube
Participate in all phases of the SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation)
Work within Agile methodologies and attend Agile ceremonies
Stay updated with industry trends and suggest improvements
Prepare thorough documentation and reports
Take leadership roles when required
Mentor junior developers and support team growth
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, or similar)
Strong knowledge of UI design principles
Experience in UI development with .NET, VB.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Understanding of server-side CSS processing
Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design
Experience with Adobe Illustrator or similar graphic tools
Knowledge of SEO best practices
Experience with Java development tools, IDEs, build frameworks, Jira, and source control
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong project and time management skills

Proven software product development experience
Preferred
Basic knowledge of Unix and Shell scripting
