Responsibilities
Prepare geotechnical and construction materials testing proposals based on the client needs
Manage and/or conduct geotechnical and construction materials testing project activities, including field operations and laboratory assignments
Conduct field investigations and fieldwork troubleshooting
Utilize resources efficiently, manage project budgets; invoice clients appropriately
Evaluate and interpret subsurface field and sampling data
Report preparation and/or review
Develop and maintain positive business relationships with clients, government officials, contractors, etc
Collaborate with staff on projects and business development
Qualification
Required
Bachelors or Masters degree in geotechnical, geological, or civil engineering
Professional Engineering license or eligible to take PE exam upon acquiring required experience
1+ year(s) of work experience in engineering or construction related field, preferred
A valid driver's license, with clean driving record
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Positive work attitude
Ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
Ability to physically maneuver construction sites, excavations, and uneven terrain
