Responsibilities
Picking up and delivering vehicles, equipment parts, materials, and supplies as directed
Conducts cycle counts and keeps an accurate inventory of parts on hand
Serves as a backup to the Parts Specialist and Fleet Coordinator
Delivers and transfers County vehicles and equipment between departments/offices or vendor locations
Washes, cleans, and prepares vehicles for delivery or maintenance as assigned
Maintains vehicle records in the Fleet Information Management System (FIMS)
Generate and prepare reports for parts or fleet data as requested from FIMS or Telematics software
Imports of fuel records into the FIMS
Inputs and retrieves all types of data on vehicle parts, supplies, equipment, and tools using automated fleet information and inventory control systems
Verifies that parts and materials received are as ordered
Operates County vehicles and equipment safely and in compliance with all regulations
Reports vehicle or equipment damage, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to supervisors
Regular and reliable attendance is required
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Six months of recent experience in the automotive or equipment industry
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License
Successful completion of a background check
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test
