Outdoor Recreation Attendant
Hot Springs Village POA is seeking an Outdoor Recreation Attendant to support their Parks and Recreation department. The role involves overseeing outdoor recreation activities, ensuring safety, and providing excellent customer service to patrons.

Responsibilities
Inspect pickleball shop immediate building area, and equipment when needed for upkeep and safety issues taking action to correct any substandard condition
Conduct check-in procedures and collect all the proper fees
Help to maintain and police court reservation schedules
Stay current on POA rules and regulations relative to facility operations and play
Assist in the sale of merchandise and other equipment
Use tact and diplomacy in dealing with persons, verbally, electronically, or by telephone
Monitor and check court conditions for potential problems and communicate with maintenance employees or other leadership
Assist in promoting and arranging matches for property owners, visitors and guests
Assist in keeping the buildings, bathrooms and surrounding outside area clean as necessary
Aids and assists in the development, promotion, and sustainability of the facilities
Will be required to assist in other outdoor recreation activities, programs, and events
Regular attendance is required
Any other related duties as assigned by Supervisor
Deliver outstanding customer service, making every effort to accommodate customer needs
Ensure the safety of patrons and staff through accident prevention and safety policy, enforcing all facility and recreation location rules and regulations
Have a thorough knowledge of rules, regulations and operational use regarding POA amenity use
Maintain safe, clean amenities/facilities at all times
Report to supervisor any safety materials needed or maintenance concerns
Qualification
Required
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
High School degree; three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and comprehend, in English, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence in English
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations
