They are seeking an Industrial Automation Sales Engineer to manage and grow automation opportunities within a defined territory, serving as the primary point of contact for customers and collaborating with internal teams to design high-value solutions.

Responsibilities
Own and grow automation opportunities across an assigned market or state
Serve as the primary commercial lead on automation-heavy customer accounts
Work closely with internal engineering and systems teams to design solutions
Spend significant time in the field with customers, technicians, and sales partners
Balance time across:
Strategic existing accounts
New logo development
Collaboration with core sales teams
Lead customer conversations around automation platforms, system integration, and long-term value
Take full ownership of opportunities — from initial discovery to project delivery
Qualification
Required
Strong working knowledge of automation systems and how components integrate
Experience in automation, systems integration, or complex technical sales
Hunter mentality — motivated to win business and build a market
Comfortable owning large, complex opportunities
Background from an OEM, integrator, or technical sales environment
Known for trust, problem-solving, and extreme ownership
