Responsibilities
Lead multiple teams (manager of managers) of talented research and applied scientists, flight controls and embedded software engineers
Manage and develop employees, including hiring, retention, performance management, mentoring and capability/skill development
Lead architecture, design, implementation, and operational support of key components on the Prime Air delivery drone
Act as point of contact for communications dealing with project deliverables, setting the expectation, managing priorities, technologies, and management issues
Establish high bar for processes and standards in the execution of all projects
Qualification
Required
10+ years of engineering experience
5+ years of engineering team management experience
10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
Preferred
Experience partnering with product and program management teams
Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
