LOFT creates modern, feminine clothing for women and is seeking a Merchandise Planning Intern for their Summer 2026 program. The intern will assist the planning department in managing merchandise inventory and markdown strategies to drive sales and inventory objectives.

Assist the planning department in managing and planning merchandise inventory and markdown strategies to drive departmental sales, inventory, profit, and turnover objectives

Qualification

ExcelData analyticsProblem-solvingCommunicationCollaboration

Required

A love of numbers, data, and analytics

Experience working in Excel (Pivot Tables, V Lookups)

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must

Junior or senior (Class of 2026 and 2027)

Master's students not eligible

Resume and portfolio (portfolios only needed for Design Applications)

Available June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
