Austin Brockenbrough & Associates, LLC is seeking an Architectural Designer III who will be responsible for independent design tasks and contributing to the detailed design and documentation of architectural projects. This role involves collaboration with project leaders and external consultants, focusing on technical and coordination aspects of project delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop design solutions and architectural concepts for mid-sized projects, working closely with senior designers and architects to refine and implement design ideas

Prepare detailed construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and 3D models, ensuring adherence to project requirements and standards

Conduct research on materials, codes, and zoning regulations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and guidelines

Coordinate with engineering consultants (structural, mechanical, electrical) to integrate building systems into architectural designs

Collaborate with clients and project teams during the design development and construction document phases to ensure project alignment with client goals

Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and communication between internal and external project stakeholders

Participate in construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals, conducting site visits, and addressing technical issues as they arise

Contribute to project quality control efforts by reviewing design deliverables and ensuring that documents meet internal and client standards

Perform all other duties as assigned
