Digital and Social Media Strategist

Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day digital and social strategy and tactical execution for several key client accounts, including campaign development support, content creation, channel approach, and performance analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing alignment and coordination between all activities and client goals
Think creatively and present strategic, data-supported, recommendations and tactical ideas to clients
Flex between 'big picture' strategy and ensuring all tactics are executed flawlessly
Cultivate strong relationships with agency account teams and shared services (e.g., Creative, Digital Analytics, Paid Media) to conceptualize and execute digital and social media programs for several healthcare clients
Proactively research and provide updates to account teams and clients on the latest trends in digital marketing, website strategy, AI, social media, influencer marketing, SEO, and the broader healthcare industry
Generate measurable results that show positive impact tied to key client objectives and business priorities
Participate in team-building and process-improvement initiatives, helping to identify opportunities to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and the overall visibility of the DSS team within the agency
Support the development of digital reports and presentations by compiling analytics data, identifying trends, and assisting in translating insights into actionable recommendations
Contribute to brainstorms and creative ideation sessions, offering innovative digital ideas while learning to connect them back to client strategy and objectives
Qualification
Required
4-6 years of experience in digital and social media strategy at an agency or corporate in-house (healthcare experience required)
Proven track record for delivering persuasive, data-based counsel to client communications and marketing teams
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Previous experience managing and leading cross-functional teams and interacting with different people daily
Must have strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Knowledge in industry with a knack for developing creative approaches and recommendations for clients
Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, digital/social platforms and tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout, Hootsuite, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
Knowledge of the healthcare regulatory landscape
Preferred
Experience in generative AI tools is a plus but not a requirement
