They are seeking an intern for their PICO system prototyping team to assist in the development of next-generation XR products, including MR headsets and AR glasses. The internship will provide hands-on experience in design, prototyping, and research related to electrical engineering.

Responsibilities
Design & Drafting: Assisting with schematic capture, PCB layouts, and updating existing electrical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Allegro)
Prototyping: Assisting in the assembly and 'bring-up' of prototype hardware, which often includes soldering components or building wire harnesses
Research: Conducting trade studies on components (e.g., comparing microcontrollers or sensors) to find the most cost-effective or high-performance options for a project
Documentation: Managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), writing test reports, and all design modifications are recorded
Qualification
Required
Familiar with ECAD tools (e.g., Cadence allegro)
Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
1+ years experience in Schematic Design, Layout and System integration
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
Preferred
Familiar with system design and PCB manufacturing process
Familiar with Power Distribution Network and Signal Integrity
Practical experience with soldering, breadboarding, and using common lab equipment
