Responsibilities
Oversee a docket of plaintiff personal injury cases from intake through trial preparation
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses for active litigation matters
Take and defend depositions of both fact and expert witnesses
Prepare cases for mediation, trial, and all related proceedings
Work collaboratively with a dedicated support team to ensure effective case management
Provide clear, consistent communication and advocacy for clients throughout the litigation process
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated plaintiff-side personal injury experience required
Proven experience in document review, discovery, and trial preparation
Experience conducting depositions of fact and expert witnesses
Strong legal writing, analytical, and case management skills
Ability to manage a high-volume litigation docket
Willingness and ability to work fully onsite in Houston
Preferred
3–5 years of litigation experience preferred; candidates with 2 years and significant trial or deposition experience will be considered
Trial-minded, hands-on approach to litigation
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Proactive with excellent communication and client-relations ability
Motivated by professional growth and taking ownership of meaningful casework
