Sr. HR Business Partner, Production , Amazon MGM Studios PXT
Amazon MGM Studios is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to build and own the production HR function for their growing studios business. This role will support various talent partners and ensure a respectful, inclusive, safe, and positive work environment across productions.

Responsibilities
Partner with production leadership (Directors, Line Producers, UPMs, HODs, Showrunners) to provide strategic HR support throughout the production lifecycle
Lead complex employee relations investigations, partnering with Legal, Labor Relations, PR, Studios DEIA, Security, and senior leadership
Provide thought partnership and coaching to production leadership and talent on HR matters
Design and implement proactive initiatives to improve production personnel experience
Ensure productions implement required training on topics related to respectful and harassment-free work environments
Advise on employment law issues, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Analyze investigation data and trends, reporting findings to senior leadership
Partner with internal teams (Content, Production, Safety, Security, Employment Legal, Production Finance, Business Affairs) to provide comprehensive support
Work closely with Labor Relations on Labor-related matters
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Experience in resolving conflicts, providing crisis management triage, and setting appropriate expectations with customers
Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
7+ years of HR experience
2+ years of entertainment, brand or production entity experience
5+ years of employee relations, human resources or employment/labor law experience
Preferred
3+ years of employee relations, labor relations, human relations or labor/employment law experience
7+ years of employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law experience
Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience in senior level leadership support
Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
Experience working with high-profile talent and productions
Strong judgment and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations
Experience in building HR programs from the ground up
