Vocational Counselor - Career Development
Access: Supports for Living is dedicated to supporting frontline staff and providing the best programs and services possible. The Vocational Counselor will help youth and adults diagnosed with mental illness and substance abuse prepare for, secure, and maintain employment and internships through various support and coaching activities.

Responsibilities
Support a high-performing culture aligned with TGCW core values and B.A.S.I.C Tenets: Balance, Accountability, Satisfaction, Inclusion, and Communication
Prepare youth and adults for internships and work
Facilitate job readiness groups
Develop relationships with businesses to promote employment opportunities
Place participants in jobs and internships
Provide on-site and off-site job coaching
Provide career counseling
Complete documentation such as case notes, authorization requests and reports
Attend/participate in staff meetings and trainings
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Masters Degree preferred with a CRC
Two years' experience in vocational counseling with youth and adults
Job developing, computer and communication skills needed, including people with substance use history
Driver's license required
