Responsibilities

Collaborate with project teams to develop creative interior design concepts for senior living interior projects
Participate in all project phases, from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring design integrity and quality
Produce detailed drawings, presentations, and renderings to communicate design concepts effectively
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design solutions are executed accurately and meet client expectations
Assist in selecting materials, finishes, furnishings, and equipment that align with the design vision and project requirements
Conduct research and stay current with industry trends, innovations, and best practices in workplace and commercial interiors
Support project documentation, including construction documents, specifications, and schedules
Lead client meetings and presentations, providing design insight and recommendations
Mentors and supports team members, providing guidance on design development, technical documentation, and professional best practices to strengthen overall team performance
Travel as needed to support project installations and site visits across the U.S

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field
8+ years of experience in interior design, with a focus on senior living, hospitality, or residential practice areas
Strong design and conceptual thinking skills with a portfolio showcasing innovative and well-executed projects
Proficiency in design software, including Revit, Enscape, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, and rendering tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods
LEED accreditation or progress toward licensure
NCIDQ certification or progress towards certification
