Responsibilities
Own and evolve backend architecture with a focus on performance, reliability, and correctness
Design and implement APIs to support CAD sessions, workflow planning, and machine learning outputs
Build low-latency, highly reliable systems incorporating robust observability frameworks
Develop and optimize caching mechanisms, queues, retry logic, and fault-tolerant features
Support scalable data infrastructure and machine learning pipeline integrations
Qualification
Required
5–12+ years of experience in backend engineering using Python (Django or FastAPI frameworks)
Strong expertise with PostgreSQL and Redis databases
Hands-on experience with asynchronous jobs, background processing, and queue systems
Proven ability in designing reliable and user-friendly APIs for complex systems
Demonstrated reliability-first mindset in building mission-critical backend platforms
Preferred
Experience handling high-volume file uploads and managing S3 or presigned URL workflows
Exposure to machine learning serving or building data platforms
Background in DevOps practices including Docker containerization and CI/CD pipelines
