Component Engineer

Responsibilities
Perform collection, review, and maintenance of technical data for an electronics component database in a Product Lifecycle Management tool, used by product development engineers
Process and execute internal changes related to Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and End of Life (EOL)
Execute specific tasks for indirect materials components and manufacturers
Complete datasheet and lifecycle maintenance
Lead or support other continuous improvement projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Advanced Problem Solving
Ability to work in a team environment
Experience using analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Mathcad, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
Demonstrated skill in interpersonal communications, use of influence, and conflict resolution
Technical knowledge of electronic components
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Preferred
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management Processes or Tools
Understanding of Electronics Manufacturing Processes
Understanding of Product Development Processes, such as John Deere EPDP
Understanding of Quality processes and their application to component engineering for electronics components
