Responsibilities

Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams
Perform Process Improvement. Gather data on common failures or waste and work with supporting teams to get them resolved / minimized / eliminated
Perform rigorous hardware verification inspections to insure quality on server racks, networking devices, and associated components
Launch new network capacity
May be required to assist Deployment Technicians with rack deployments on heavy deployment days or Cabling team
Ensure adherence to timelines
Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes always with an eye on improvement
Work closely with our Install/Deployment Technicians, Supply Chain & Procurement, and Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth delivery of on-demand customer capacity
Coordination of design, project timeline/ schedule and construction works

Required

1+ years of computer networking experience
2+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, or Technical Project Management experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience in computer networking
Experience working with Linux operating systems
Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair

Preferred

Can work in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines
Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment)
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of project management experience
Experience in large scale data center network implementations and support
Experience working in virtualized enterprise networking environments
Experience working with IT best practice frameworks (ITIL, LEAN, AGILE)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
