Responsibilities
Teach CAP English and/or Math classes utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning
Effectively use computer applications for instruction, communication where appropriate and maintaining program compliance
Maintain department curriculum standards
Provide appropriate means to assess student progress and provide timely feedback
Use appropriate teaching methods to respond to varying student learning styles
Participate in relevant department activities supporting the teaching and learning environment
Work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds
Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Adult Education, Education, or related discipline
Teaching experience
Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds
