Manager Supply Chain
Toshiba International Corporation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of motors, motor controls and power electronics products. The Manager Supply Chain will lead and manage all supply chain functions, focusing on material flow, inventory planning, budgeting, and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities
Negotiate annual agreements, collaborate with other plants to leverage combined spend
Proactively develop and execute a sourcing strategy to include developing and managing all supplier relationships
Manage and/or coordinate production, purchasing, warehousing, inventory, distribution, and financial forecasting activities to limit costs and improve accuracy, material availability, customer service, and safety
Responsible for resolving escalations
Follow established procedures, practices and policies to contact vendors, obtain quotations
Examine bids, make awards, delegate placement of orders and expedite delivery of goods/services
Supervise activities of subordinates
Lead and direct the work of others; expected to be a positive influence within a team environment
Independantly Expedite orders, approve expediated orders
Expert understanding, delivery cost, Alternative terms and conditions, longer term agreements. Prepare and present Supplier Business Reviews
Conduct supplier performance analysis
Qualification
Required
4 year degree required
10+ years of experience
Expert understanding of delivery cost, alternative terms and conditions, longer term agreements
