Responsibilities

Performs analyses and lab processes using NIR (Near Infrared) instrumentation

Manages Oilmeal Program activities

Supports Feed Ingredient NIR Programs by organizing, testing, and communicating results for hundreds of feed ingredient samples weekly

Follows written procedures and provides expected documentation

Developing understanding and ability to build basic NIR calibration models and provide technical support to NIR users

Required

High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years laboratory experience or post-secondary education in a related field

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Able to work efficiently, while generating accurate results

Customer focused and understands the need to meet deadlines

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred

BA or BS degree in a science related field or Associates degree in a related technical field w/ 0-1 year work experience

NIR instrumentation experience and/or knowledge of animal feed, feed ingredients or agriculture
