Process Engineer (Assembly)
TriMark is focused on improving assembly processes, and they are seeking a Process Engineer (Assembly) to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The role involves analyzing production procedures, training staff, and leading process improvement projects to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
Analyze current production procedures and standards to identify inefficiencies
Spend time on the production floor analyzing both employee and machinery workflow to find out where the process can be streamlined for lower costs and higher productivity
Assist in the monitoring of government requirements (EPA, OSHA, etc.) to ensure work centers are in compliance with established standards
Interact with individuals throughout the company, as well as individuals external to the company
Identify and/or generate all documentation related to the integration of new products into the production environment
Perform analysis of part design characteristics, specifications and tolerances of parts, manufacturing process design, set up and tooling. Identify subsequent changes to manufacturing and assembly drawings, as necessary
Optimize processes to meet objectives of lowering cost and/or improving productivity
Provide the proper documentation in the assembly and maintenance along with other technical files to the Maintenance & Facilities Engineer prior to project completion
Monitor the new procedures and report successes and failures to the Director of Operations or Assembly Manager at project completion
Actively promote process improvement to ensure compliance to industry standards and regulations and to secure the future business position in the marketplace
Attend meetings and contribute to new product design review
Support the continual improvement and compliance of QMS and EMS
Qualification
Required
Previous experience and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing and assembly
Ability to analyze current production procedures and standards to identify inefficiencies
Ability to interact with individuals throughout the company, as well as individuals external to the company
Skills in human relations
Excellent communication skills, including both written and oral
Ability to perform analysis of part design characteristics, specifications and tolerances of parts, manufacturing process design, set up and tooling
Optimization of processes to meet objectives of lowering cost and/or improving productivity
Ability to manage projects and ensure goals are met and address scope, budget, and schedule
Ability to develop and use systems to organize and keep track of work progress
Ability to work cooperatively with others to produce innovative solutions
Ability to think ahead and see the big picture when planning new manufacturing or assembly processes
Ability to run a project from start to finish involving cross-functional team members and stakeholders
Ability to approach a process while considering it from all angles
