Responsibilities

Case Management & Documentation
Engage members in setting and achieving personal goals
Document all member interactions and activities in the electronic health record system, ensuring timely and accurate updates
Promote a person-centered approach through motivational interviewing and supportive guidance
Communication & Media Management
Develop, design, and distribute engaging content for newsletters, social media, and promotional materials to increase awareness and participation
Utilize Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud to create visually compelling and effective communications
Activity Planning & Health Initiatives
Organize and facilitate health and wellness programs, daily meal preparation, and structured group activities
Oversee and involve members in daily unit tasks, promoting responsibility, teamwork, and skill-building
Outreach & Community Engagement
Partner with members to design and implement outreach initiatives that foster participation and strengthen community connections
Create promotional materials, conduct outreach efforts, and serve as an ambassador for the Lantern House mission
Compliance & Policy Management
Interpret and uphold Clubhouse policies, the Code of Ethics, and Clubhouse International Standards
Provide clear guidance to members and staff on policies and best practices, responding to related inquiries as needed

Required

Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's program
Strong verbal and written communication; exceptional organizational ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work compassionately with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, creating an environment of empathy, acceptance, and encouragement. Must be flexible, creative, and energetic
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively; eager to learn and contribute to team success
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); willingness to learn Canva and other creative platforms
Must be resourceful and able to adapt to changing needs and priorities
Background check is conducted as per OMH guidelines
