Responsibilities

Must be readily available to travel 75% of the work time
Coordinate daily tasks according to scheduled routes
Responsible for monitoring attendance and productivity of a 2-3-person crew
Provide supervision and training to all crew members
Review daily work orders, inspect, and verify that the materials loaded into the vehicle are adequate to complete the daily assignment
Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote a safety culture among crew members, including adequately using machinery and equipment and resolving problems when they arise
Report to Area Quality Managers of project details, including progress, risks, and opportunities, promptly
Assist crew members in loading and unloading materials as needed
Assist crew members in removing, filling, compacting, and preparing the terrain
Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using various hand tools
Perform site clean-up and reload leftover materials after completing the job assignment

Required

Hands-on experience operating the following equipment is preferred: Excavators: CAT 318 – 320 or Hyundai 2 Series – 3 Series, Dozers: CAT D1, D3, and D5, Skid Steers: CAT 289 with bucket and blade attachments, Off-road dump trucks
Must have a valid driver's license and three years of verifiable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Must pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen
Ability to understand/follow directions and take instructions in English
Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs
Work under inclement weather conditions like rain, heat, and cold
Must have prior work experience as a Foreman or Crew Lead
Prior experience driving ½ or ¾ ton trucks, with a 20+ foot trailer attached, fully loaded

Preferred

Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) is a plus
