Responsibilities

Perform conceptual and detailed design for advanced manufacturing facilities
Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems
Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects
Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks
Coordinate on designs with chemical and gas distribution system vendors
Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on basic engineering applications and principles
Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work

Required

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
At least 5 years of experience in a chemical process engineering role on manufacturing projects

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE)
Understanding of hazardous material storage handling codes and standards
Experience in chemical and gas distribution systems
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertise
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams with members based in various regions
Passion for engineering and developing solutions
