Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Android applications with high performance and quality
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement new features
Optimize app performance, usability, and responsiveness
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, crashes, and other issues
Write automated tests and participate in code reviews
Stay current with Android development trends, tools, and best practices
Contribute to improving mobile architecture and development processes
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of Android development experience
Strong skills in Kotlin and/or Java
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services
Knowledge of Android Jetpack components and modern libraries (preferred: Compose, Coroutines, Room, Datastore)
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
Understanding of unit testing, UI testing, and test automation
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication
Experience with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, etc.) is a plus
Preferred
You have at least 3 years of professional Android development experience
You are proficient in Kotlin and/or Java, with a strong understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio
You are familiar with modern Android architecture patterns like MVVM or MVP
You are passionate about building intuitive, high-performance mobile apps
You are a team player who enjoys collaboration and code reviews, and you take pride in writing clean, maintainable code
