The Senior Manager of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting will lead the company’s technical accounting, financial reporting, and policy functions, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and maintaining strong internal controls over financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Serve as the company’s subject matter expert on complex U.S. GAAP accounting matters, including: Lease accounting (ASC 842), Joint venture accounting (ASC 323 / ASC 810)

Assist in the preparation and maintenance detailed technical accounting memos supporting accounting conclusions for management and auditors

Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP disclosure requirements

Oversee preparation of footnote disclosures related to leases, investments, commitments, contingencies, and equity interests

Coordinate and manage the external audit process, serving as the primary contact for auditors on technical and reporting matters

Support the Controller in establishing accounting policies, controls, and procedures to enhance financial statement reliability and audit readiness

Partner in developing and maintaining corporate accounting policies and manuals consistent with U.S. GAAP and company operations

Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
