Power System Engineer
Trademark Metals Recycling, part of Nucor, is North America's largest steel manufacturer known for its innovative sustainability practices. The Power Systems Engineer will be responsible for configuring, commissioning, and managing devices, as well as performing various electrical studies and analyses.

Responsibilities
Configure, commission, and manage devices
Perform Load flow, Short circuit studies including relay coordination, arc flash analysis, transient analysis, and harmonic analysis
Performing programming microprocessor relays designed for power system protection and control
Using microprocessors to analyze data and make decisions
Demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
two (2) years of experience in a power role with experience in power distribution, transformers, and electrical codes/standards
Experience must include: Utilizing AutoCAD to create detailed drawings, schematics, and blueprints for electrical systems and other equipment
