Start in 2026 SummerChico's FAS, Inc. is one of the leading fashion retailers in North America, offering a summer internship program for college students. The Design Intern will assist the design team with seasonal collections and gain exposure to product line development while preparing presentation materials and concept boards.
Responsibilities
Be exposed to the total business processes and procedures
Gain an understanding of the roles of the retail professionals
Assist with special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Junior or Senior status at an accredited college or university with minimum GPA of 3.0
Applicants to this position must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
Resume and portfolio (portfolios only needed for Design Applications)
Available May 18 – July 31, 2026
Preferred
Experience in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
Exposure to tech packs and hand/computer flats
An eye for trend, color, print and pattern
Interest in pursuing a career in retail
Strong communication, organizational skills, and an eagerness to learn
