Responsibilities

Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on all building systems including fire/life safety, HVAC, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, plumbing, and controls to ensure 100% uptime
Operate and maintain electrical systems including UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, power distribution, and transformers
Monitor, adjust, and maintain refrigeration, chilled water, air conditioning equipment, boilers, ventilating systems, water heaters, pumps, valves, and filters
Record system readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper equipment operation and performance
Analyze various system operations, determine causes of problems or malfunctions, and implement corrective actions
Manage work orders through CMMS, coordinate vendor management activities, and handle customer-facing tickets
Respond to site emergencies and comply with emergency escalation procedures while maintaining critical system integrity

Required

Minimum 2+ years of experience working in data center or critical facility environments
Hands-on experience with building systems including UPS systems, emergency generators, and switchgears
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration and reporting
Working knowledge of computer applications including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Suite, and CMMS systems
Physical ability to lift minimum 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 ft with 300-lb weight limit, and work from heights
Flexibility to work different schedules, holidays, and respond to emergency situations
Ability to walk large campus-like settings and navigate rooftops to access equipment

Preferred

Experience with Corrigo CMMS platform
Universal EPA 608 certification for refrigerant handling
NFPA 70E electrical safety training certification
Knowledge of hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal procedures
Experience in incident and event management for critical systems
Background in analyzing complex mechanical and electrical system operations
Familiarity with emergency escalation procedures in mission-critical environments
