Junior Recruiter - Cannabis Company
DACUT is a vertically integrated cannabis company seeking a motivated Junior Recruiter to support high-volume recruitment across their retail and cultivation locations. The role involves sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates to ensure a smooth hiring process and positive candidate experience.
Retail
Responsibilities
Source, screen, and schedule interviews for candidates across multiple retail and cultivation locations
Assist with onboarding new hires, including orientation and paperwork
Maintain candidate tracking and update HR systems with hiring activity
Support hiring managers in high-volume recruitment initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring teams to ensure a positive experience
Participate in job fairs, social media recruiting, and other talent sourcing strategies
Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of recruiting or HR experience, preferably in high-volume environments
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to multitask and handle recruitment for multiple locations simultaneously
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
Strong interpersonal skills and a candidate-focused approach
Preferred
Experience in retail, hospitality, or cannabis industry recruiting
Knowledge of onboarding processes and HR compliance
Social media recruiting experience
