Start in 2026 SummerWilton Re is seeking an Accounting Finance Intern for Summer 2026 at their Norwalk, Connecticut office. This internship offers a 10-12 week program aimed at providing professional experience in accounting and finance, with responsibilities including assisting in financial reporting and spreadsheet controls.

Responsibilities
Assist with Application of spreadsheet controls framework
Annual spreadsheet controls risk assessment roll-forward process
Updating of workpapers with new spreadsheet control framework requirements
Assist with the preparation of certain quarterly financial reporting workpapers
Assist with balance sheet tie outs, controls, letter of credit analysis
Leverage technical experience learned to build macros to automate reporting
Assist with work papers that help illustrate risk for ceding co audits
Assist with Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) reporting – running reports from DataMart, inputting results into filing system
Assist with preparation of journal entries for the financial reporting quarter end close
Qualification
Required
Rising junior or senior
Attending a 4-year university, pursuing a bachelors level degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
Intermediate Excel experience
Ability to work full time beginning of June to mid-August
Authorization to work in the U.S
