Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain web-based applications that support critical business processes
Apply strong SQL expertise to design efficient queries, optimize database performance, and ensure data integrity
Review, analyze, and validate coded programs to ensure compliance with technical standards, specifications, and best practices
Prepare test data and perform thorough unit testing to ensure functionality, performance, and quality
Analyze automation and enhancement requests, providing technical recommendations and solution approaches
Develop work plans, project schedules, and accurate time and cost estimates for assigned initiatives
Create and maintain all required SDM technical documentation, including Technical Specifications, Design Documents, and related artifacts
Collaborate with users and business stakeholders to understand requirements for enhancements, maintenance, and issue resolution
Maintain continuous awareness of user activities and business plans that may impact application development
Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and implement them using full lifecycle development methodologies
Prepare and present routine project status reports, clearly communicating progress, risks, and dependencies to customers and stakeholders
Participate in staff meetings, technical reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions as an active team member
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers, promoting coding standards and best practices across the team
Qualification
Required
12+ years of professional experience in web application development and support
Strong proficiency in web technologies and structured programming concepts
Advanced SQL skills with experience in complex queries, performance tuning, and data validation
Proven experience working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Strong understanding of coding standards, testing methodologies, and documentation practices
Experience creating technical documentation such as design documents, technical specs, and test plans
Ability to analyze requirements, estimate effort, and manage development tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business users and technical teams
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
