They are seeking an Investment Team Member who will build and manage sourcing channels, assess prospective deals, and help grow their advisory network while ensuring the firm stays updated on developments in the startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities
Build and manage new and existing sourcing channels for the Investment team
Attend all relevant startups and VC conferences, events, and demo days
Assess prospective deals and potential investments in a timely and highly organized fashion
Leverage and help grow Struck Capital’s expert / advisory network to analyze the technical, functional, and domain specifications of investment opportunities
Ensure the firm is abreast of relevant news items, macro tailwinds, and other developments that occur in the startup ecosystem and aggregate that data for all pertinent circumstances
Develop presentations for the firm’s use including monthly deal team reviews, firm quarterly investor update presentations, and other relevant fund materials
Draft granular and in-depth investment memos outlining the totality of the diligence process
Assist with portfolio management responsibilities and leverage our Platform offering as needed to add value to our portfolio companies, broader network, and the firm’s brand
Qualification
Required
You are a self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
You have 2+ years of investing experience, ideally within a venture capital firm. Title (Analyst, Senior Analyst, Associate, or Senior Associate) will be determined based on three factors: years of investing experience, demonstrated impact, and prior scope of responsibilities
You are a Tier 1 networker and have a track record of building strong relationships in the startup community. You are capable of interfacing with industry leaders, founders, and investors while serving as an ambassador of Struck Capital
You have a relentless drive for sourcing venture backable investment opportunities
You have experience conducting/leading thorough due diligence, including market research, competitive landscape assessment, and financial analysis. You can establish deep conviction in investment theses and themes
You are hyper-organized and can manage multiple work streams, concurrently
You are highly responsive and agile – we expect our internal communication cadence to match our external communication style
You are passionate about building great companies and helping entrepreneurs win
You are a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. We need to like working with you, and so does your network
You are proficient in data analysis, market research, Excel, and PowerPoint
