Business Development Manager (Enterprise Aerospace & Defense) - Remote
Convergint is looking for a full-time Enterprise Business Development Manager to join their team, focusing on growth with complex Enterprise Aerospace & Defense customers. The role involves developing strategies to increase market penetration and maintaining relationships with key decision makers.

Responsibilities
Build a cross-functional team with our CTC (Convergint Technology Center) sellers specific to each customer assigned, build a plan, cadence, and accountability feedback
Develop and implement strategies to increase market penetration of enterprise Aerospace and Defense security solutions, products & services
Work closely with other CDC resources such as Service Sales, National Operations, Vertical Markets, Legal, and Public Sector Vertical teams to optimize solution offerings and operations to improve the customer experience and Convergint profitability
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships with Aerospace and Defense organizations on defined target list
Maintain high level decision maker relationships with key customers while developing and executing strategic growth plans
Maintain deep knowledge of Physical Security (PhySec) technologies, with the ability to evaluate and contrast different architectures and technology solutions
Drive high level relationships with key customer contacts, especially at the executive level of customer’s corporate entities
Establish and renew key customer contracts and agreements with corporate entities
Provide leadership in coaching colleagues, reviewing proposals, and ensuring adherence to strategy and contracts
Regularly meet with leaders to review progress toward growth goals
Undertake other tasks as necessary to support Convergint’s Aerospace and Defense vertical and company-wide objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher
10+ years in sales
Proven track record of selling complex solutions to enterprise level customers-ideally large Aerospace and Defense customers
Experience in US federal business and working with or for defense contractors
High performing seller-track record of selling complex deals to fortune 500 or top 50 aerospace and defense companies
Team player-jumps in to help colleagues and not afraid to roll up their sleeves
Strategic thinker- can put together a strategic plan, build a team, and execute the plan
Technically sound in security technologies, US federal contracting and other vertical related technologies
Deep domain expert has credibility with US federal and A&D partners and customers
Executive level communicator-communicates well with executives, peers, and customers
Growth mindset-thrives on change and hungry to grow
