Responsibilities

Clean, assemble, weld, and inspect cold components
Assemble radioactive components in fume hood
Transfer, weld, and inspect radioactive seeds
Wash and decontaminate radioactive seeds
Perform 100% inspection of finished seeds using magnifying equipment or microscope
Perform assay operation of radioactive seeds
Perform seed loading procedures (magazine, custom loaded needles, strands)
Perform counting and shipping operations
Perform sterilization procedures (steam and/or gamma)
Perform miscellaneous procedures (air filter, surveys, wastewater)
Ensure accuracy of all paperwork
Maintain clean and orderly work area
Follow all company policies
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Responsible for informing supervisor if corrections need to be made in production equipment or material
Other functions might be assigned based on company’s needs

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
One year Manufacturing/Assembly experience (required)
A high degree of accuracy is needed to perform all duties and paper work
Must display initiative to complete all assignments
Must be able to perform duties without direct and constant supervision
Must work toward continuous improvement
Responsible care and operation of equipment that will prevent damage or excessive wear
Ability to work overtime as workload dictates
A high level of confidentiality must be maintained at all times with any Company information
