Plaintiff Employment Law Attorney (ideally with class action experience)
Responsibilities
Handle 40–50 cases at a time, mostly wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA matters, and employee-side litigation
Run real cases and develop real skills
Use modern technology including custom CRM systems and streamlined processes
Focus on sustainable and responsible AI solutions to reduce busywork
Work collaboratively with shared paralegal support
Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level attorneys
Help employees by focusing on wage theft cases
Engage in hands-on experience such as drafting, arguing, and running cases in state and federal court
Qualification
Required
Experience in plaintiff-side employment law, specifically wage and hour class actions
Ability to handle 40–50 cases at a time, mostly wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA matters, and employee-side litigation
Strong litigation experience with hands-on case management, including drafting and arguing cases in both state and federal court
Good academic performance for first-year attorneys (around a 3.4 GPA) or significant performance and experience for seasoned attorneys
Willingness to transition from defense to plaintiff work if applicable
Ability to work collaboratively with a team, including shared paralegal support
Preferred
Class action experience
Experience working in a boutique law firm environment
Interest in sustainable and responsible AI solutions in legal practice
