Our client, Precision System Design Inc., is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join their organization for a 6-month contract. The role involves testing secure enterprise systems and validating encryptions, requiring expertise in SQL Server Always Encrypted.

Testing secure, data-sensitive enterprise systems
Validating encryptions
Designing security-focused test cases
Validating encryption implementation and data protection mechanisms
Analyzing data and formulating meaningful questions
Bringing insights and hypotheses back to the team to guide investigation and decision-making
Leading with curiosity to uncover root causes and improvement opportunities
Working effectively with cross-functional teams (security, architecture, infrastructure)
Explaining technical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
Thriving on figuring things out without a full map
Demonstrating resilience in ambiguity
Comfortable making progress with partial information
Identifying and executing remediation steps without waiting for perfect clarity
Qualification
Required
Experience specifically with SQL Server Always Encrypted (AE) is required
SQL AE experience
Comfortable working with SQL Server Always Encrypted (AE)
Schema analysis and remediation for encryption compatibility
Experience designing security-focused test cases
Ability to validate encryption implementation and data protection mechanisms
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks that support security validation
Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
Experience with threat modeling and vulnerability remediation
Hands-on experience with data-at-rest and data-in-transit encryption
Familiarity with key management and integration with enterprise security tools
Demonstrates ability to analyze data and formulate meaningful questions
Brings insights and hypotheses back to the team to guide investigation and decision-making
Leads with curiosity to uncover root causes and improvement opportunities
Works effectively with cross-functional teams (security, architecture, infrastructure)
Can explain technical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
