Responsibilities
Lead Rheumatology’s clinical and research operations
Provide state of the art patient care
Advance novel research
Train the next generation of clinicians in rheumatology
Oversee a busy inpatient and outpatient service
Qualify for the Geisel criteria to be appointed at the rank of Associate or Professor of Medicine
Serve as a physician role model of appropriate, expert, compassionate, and high value clinical care
Teach learners at all levels
Maintain respectful and inclusive relationships with interprofessional colleagues
Be responsible for the direction, operation, and management of the Section of Rheumatology
Qualification
Required
Skilled rheumatologist with experience overseeing a busy inpatient and outpatient service
Familiar with the tripartite academic mission of clinical care, education, and research
Board certification in rheumatology is required
Current licensure (or ability to be licensed) in New Hampshire and Vermont
Qualify for the Geisel criteria to be appointed at the rank of Associate or Professor of Medicine
Experience as a leader in an academic medical center
