Irving Independent School District is looking for a Campus Secretary to facilitate the efficient operation of the school administrative office and provide clerical services for the school's administrative staff. The role involves managing office tasks, assisting students and staff, and maintaining records and accounts.

Education

Responsibilities

Assist students, teachers, and parents as needed

Receive incoming calls, take reliable messages, and schedule appointments

Perform accounting tasks following established district guidelines including, but not limited to, those related to budget, textbooks, fixed assets, requisitions, purchase orders

Manage student and campus activity accounts as required

Keep accurate records of staff absences and substitutes used

Monitor, process and submit personnel payroll reports to central office as required

Manage office personnel in daily activities as needed or directed

Assist in compiling information to be used in various administrative reports

Maintain the scheduled use of building and make requests for appropriate heating/cooling

Maintain confidentiality

Remain informed of and comply with state, district, and school policies or regulations concerning primary job functions
