Responsibilities
Collaborate with head attorneys to draft legal filings, manage discovery, and prepare for trial
Advocate in court when needed, ensuring strong representation for our clients
Conduct extensive legal research and draft persuasive motions, pleadings, and briefs
Work alongside clients, paralegals, and fellow attorneys to build effective case strategies ensuring the best possible outcome for our clients
Be able to work on family law and estate litigation cases
Qualification
Required
Possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed as an attorney in the State of Utah with a good standing with the Utah State Bar. Alternatively, you currently reside in Utah and are in the process of obtaining your license to practice law in the State of Utah
At least one (1) year of experience as a licensed attorney managing discovery and drafting complex legal filings
Possess exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Have an understanding and knowledge of family law, legal procedures, and the intricacies of the courtroom. In the alternative, you are eager to learn and be trained by the head attorneys
Articulate your thoughts with eloquence and precision, whether through written or verbal communication
Show empathy and build connections with clients, colleagues, and legal professionals
Ability to manage a large workload and meet deadlines with high quality work
Have a good track record of client satisfaction, despite the outcome of the case
Preferred
Family law and estate litigation experience is preferred, but not required, if you are the right fit for the Litigation Associate Attorney position
