Sr. Engineering Project Manager

Responsibilities
Manage large project teams responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets
Identify cross-functional resources critical to project objectives and build diverse collaborative teams to drive business success
Lead and influence initiatives and projects to provide strategic insights which enable efficient execution of project deliverables and milestones, including managing the full life cycle of projects
Provide analysis and status reports of the project, including business case, ROI, and post-project review
Assess, manage, resolve, and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues
Provide recommendations and suggest best practices with the expectation of always creating an exceptional client implementation experience
Qualification
Required
You have at least 5-8 years of project management experience and/or continuous improvement experience
You have prior work experience leading medium to large cross-functional and/or multi-year projects from concept to delivery
You possess strong knowledge of project management processes, tools, and structured methodologies
You guide and inspire others in a consultative approach and drive collaboration and client focus with the project team and internal partners
You manage multiple and changing priorities (flexibility/adaptability)
You demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations
You work and thrive independently and in a collaborative environment; you partner, collaborate, and work in a team (and matrixed) environment
You coach, train, and mentor other team members with less experience
A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include: Experience noted above, OR Military Experience

You bring industry expertise to each client solution and apply best practices through in-depth client consultation
You maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands
You take initiative to seek out answers, solutions, and positive outcomes
You're process-oriented with a high attention to details
You're proficient using Microsoft Office suite and have experience with Financial Force, Anaplan, Confluence, or similar tools
You have experience in the Human Capital Management (HCM) Industry and/or knowledge and understanding of payroll
You have PMP certification from highly recognized professional learning institutions
